Ordered and sold new by Sam Leman in Roanoke, IL!!!
This Chevelle SS was born in Kansas City, MO as a factory Super Sport in Cortez Silver and an LS5 454 V8. Somewhere over its 45+ year life, it had its engine replaced by a strong-running 1966 date-coded big block Chevrolet (dressed up to look like the original 454). This is backed up by a TH400 Transmission and a 12-Bolt Posi-Traction rear end.
This gorgeous car was treated to a complete restoration where it was painted in the desirable Cranberry Red with Black Stripes over the black interior with Strato bucket seats and console. The car is very clean and runs and drives as it should. We would consider this a very clean "driver" that we would not be afraid to show at any local car show, but not without its minor imperfections.
